THE SPEAKERS

Dr. Scott Stoll, author of Alive! and co-founder of the Plantrician Project and the International Plant Based Nutrition Healthcare Conference. Every year Dr. Stoll hosts a very popular one-week total health immersion in Florida and helps attendees recover lost health, overcome addictions, and restore emotional balance. He was also featured in the documentary, The Game Changers.

Dr. James Loomis, an internal medicine physician featured in The Game Changers film and former team internist for the St. Louis Rams and the St. Louis Cardinals. Dr. Loomis currently works as a Medical Director at the Barnard Medical Center in Washington, DC.

Caryn Dugan, a plant-based chef and Certified Health & Wellness Coach. Caryn is fully certified by PCRM’s Food for Life training to help others practice the prevention of chronic disease through nutrition and founded the nation’s first plant-based nutrition and culinary education center, called the Center for Plant-based Living. She learned a tough lesson in 2008; after losing her dad to cancer and receiving a cancer diagnosis herself, she learned that practicing prevention of an illness is a lot easier than trying to treat it. Through her research and study, she learned that the foods we put in our mouths have a direct impact on the state of our health, even if we don’t know it right away. By eating an abundance of plant-based food, you are building your immune system’s strength against chronic illnesses that are so common in today’s world, specifically cancer and diabetes.

Dr. Brooke Goldner, a board certified physician, the founder of GoodbyeLupus.com, creator of the Hyper-nourishing Nutrition Protocol for Lupus Reversal, and the author of 3 bestselling books, Goodbye Lupus, Goodbye Autoimmune Disease, and Green Smoothie Recipes to Kick-Start Your Health and Healing. She has been featured in multiple documentaries such as Eating You Alive, Whitewashed, and The Conspiracy Against Your Health, and has been featured on TV news and the Home & Family Show, as well as many radio shows and podcasts. She is a highly sought after keynote speaker, who shares the stage regularly with Drs. Ornish, Esselstyn, Bernard, Greger and T. Colin Campbell, to name a few. She has been featured on the front cover of Vegan Health & Fitness Magazine 3 times, including the recent cover of Fit Over Forty. She is a regular contributor to T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and she is featured in the Journal of Disease Reversal reversing lupus in herself, as well as multiple cases studies in reversing end-stage lupus nephritis (kidney failure) with her hyper-nourishing nutrition protocol. She graduated Carnegie Mellon University with honors for genetic research in leukemia and neurobiology, was a graduate of the Temple University School of Medicine, was Chief Resident at UCLA-Harbor Residency, and holds a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University.

Alex Caspero MA, RD, RYT, a Registered Dietitian, Plant-Based Chef, owner of Delish Knowledge and author of Fresh Italian Cooking for the New Generation. Her award-winning blog, Delish Knowledge, focuses on making whole-food, vegetarian eating deliciously simple. She is the New York Times Bestselling recipe developer of The Fiber Fueled Cookbook and Fiber Fueled. Alex is the co-founder of Plant-Based Juniors, an evidence-based platform that helps parents navigate the world of plant-based prenatal and pediatric nutrition. She is the co-author of the bestselling book, The Plant-Based Baby + Toddler. Additionally, she is the co-author of Joyful Eating, Nourished Life, a 6-week program which helps others discover a happier, healthier relationship with food and their body.
