Marcy Madrid

President

Marcy is the Vice President of Planning and Marketing for Midland Health. She oversees strategic planning, community health outreach, marketing and public relations, sales as well as employee engagement and patient experience.

In September 2015, Marcy was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and began taking medication for about a month while experiencing many side effects. Around this same time, she was learning about plant-based nutrition from a few local physicians who were interested in starting a movement in Midland. Marcy consulted with her doctor, stopped taking her medications, adopted a plant-based lifestyle and began using food as medicine. Six months later, Marcy’s MRI scans of her spine and brain showed that her lesions had shrank and nearly disappeared entirely.

Marcy is a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She volunteers in a leadership role at Mid-Cities Community Church. Marcy is a proud wife to Carlos Madrid and mother to 6 children, including twin girls.
